1974年の「OPEN OUR EYES」（CBS）当時は学生で当然輸入盤（ディスクユニオン辺り？）で友人が購入。
アイズレー・ブラザーズ、Sly & The Family Stone、コモドアーズ、Kool & the Gangなどをよく聴いていたので、 聴いてビックリ！まだJAZZ風味も残しており「これ大当たり」って感じでした。
「Philip Bailey」のファルセットヴォイスと「フェニックス・ホーンズ」は印象的でした。
取敢えず５作目（Open Our Eyes／太陽の化身）を中心に残りはＰＶでお馴染みのを少々。
※「Spasmodic Movements」「Rabbit Seed」「Caribou」 はYouTubeでは見つかりませんでした。
※「プロビデンスの目」のジャケットは気に食わないがしょうがない！
